SB FTM Top Surgery

SB FTM Top Surgery is a gender-affirming procedure designed to help transgender men and non-binary individuals achieve a flatter, more masculine-looking chest. During the surgery, excess breast tissue is removed and the chest is reshaped to match your gender identity and goals.

This procedure can greatly improve comfort, confidence, and overall well-being for those who experience gender dysphoria related to their chest.

Procedure FAQs

Where Will the Incisions and Scars Be?
The location and length of incisions depend on the technique performed. With Double Incision, scars are typically positioned along the lower chest contour, while Periareolar and Keyhole techniques use incisions around or near the areola. Scars are expected but generally become less noticeable as they mature over time.

How Long Is the Recovery?
The initial recovery period is typically around 10–15 days, depending on individual healing and the surgical technique performed. Swelling, bruising, tightness, and discomfort are expected during the early recovery period. Strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, and upper-body activities should be avoided for approximately 4–6 weeks or until cleared by your surgeon.

When Will I See the Final Results?
A noticeable change in chest contour can be seen immediately after surgery, although swelling will initially affect the appearance. The chest will continue to settle and refine over the following weeks to months, while scars will gradually mature and become less noticeable over time.
