Am I a Good Candidate for a Breast Lift?
You may be a good candidate if you experience breast sagging, downward-pointing nipples, stretched skin, or changes in breast shape following pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight changes, or aging. Your surgeon will assess your anatomy and desired outcome during consultation.
Will a Breast Lift Make My Breasts Bigger?
A breast lift primarily reshapes and elevates the breasts rather than significantly increasing their size. If you also want additional fullness or volume, your surgeon may recommend combining the lift with breast augmentation.
Where Will the Incisions and Scars Be?
The incision pattern depends on the degree of sagging and the surgical technique required. Incisions may be placed around the areola, vertically toward the breast fold, and/or along the natural crease underneath the breast. Scars are expected but typically become less noticeable as they mature over time.
How Long Is the Recovery?
The initial healing period is typically around 10–15 days, although recovery varies. Most patients can gradually return to work within 1–2 weeks, depending on their occupation and healing. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting should generally be avoided for approximately 4–6 weeks or until cleared by our doctor.
